Tram D201 base Station With Tram microphone, I Not knowing the history of this brought the Radio up on a Variac nothing got to warm no smells , so I took a 20 foot run of 18 guage wire and ran it up a corner of my deck and tried to receive something but was unanble to. I no longer have a tube tester to see if one or two of them may be the culprit, at least one had a Trem logo on it and assume its either original of decades old. I was able to scrounge up a basic SWR meter that might help me relocate the wire antenna to a spot where it is has the best chance to pick up a signl. The Tram Mic. looks great but the plug end was given to me in 3 peices and according to the manual it is not helping me set up a make shift antrenna. Untill I either get this going or serviced it is being sold as is If you have any ideas or something you would like mre to try, I will do my best to help you aout anyway I can, I had been collecting vintage stereo equipment for decades buy have nearlky zero experience with communications equipment, and untill I either figure something out or have it serviced iI will be selling D201 and microphone as as set, as is as described.
